Manmeet Singh is an accomplished Chief Risk and Compliance Officer with a progressive career spanning over 30 years specialising in risk, governance and compliance (GRC) in highly regulated financial services industry. He has a consistent track record in developing robust risk management frameworks, maintaining effective governance structures, embedding industry and firm specific compliance policies and processes, and ensuring ongoing alignment with regulatory bodies.
Manmeet was instrumental in establishing the risk and compliance function for British Business Bank which was transitioned from the Department of Business Innovation and Skills in 2015 and was responsible for spearheading transition from OFT to FCA for BNP LS. Before moving over to GRC expertise, he was the Group Financial Controller for a Telecom Group.

Susan Brooke Jackson

Susan Jackson has over 30 years of experience in education. She was three times a School Principal in the UK, Argentina and France before establishing her international educational consultancy, which specialises in school and university start-ups, and school transformation. Susan has 15 years experience as an OFSTED inspector, including as a Lead Inspector for Free Schools, UTCs and Academy conversions. Selected by both the Department for Education and the Cabinet Office for service on public bodies, she has also been a Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, a long-term Examiner for the International Baccalaureate and is currently an Affiliated Consultant to the Council of International Schools. Her governance roles to date include Vice Chair of an 'outstanding' state school, Governor of an 'excellent' (ISI) independent school and Trustee of an 'excellent' (ISI) group of international schools.

Kanwarpreet Dua

Kanwarpreet is a qualified actuary and a maths and statistics graduate from the University of Bristol. He has over 35 years of experience in financial services and insurance, holding senior management and board roles in various companies. He was the Chief Operating Officer of the European division of a major multi-national life insurer and has worked extensively overseas in marketing and distribution of insurance products.

Sarah Caton

Sarah is Chief Executive of Inspiration for All, a not for profit social enterprise that harnesses the capabilities of business leaders to work with leaders in education to advance social mobility together.
Originally a maths teacher, Sarah moved into educational publishing, creating market leading content, assessment and digital solutions. More recently Sarah led on efficacy across Pearson’s English Language Learning and Global Schools businesses, working with governments, school chains, and product teams to improve outcomes for learners. Using this experience as an Impact Consultant, Sarah supports educational and other purpose-led organisations to articulate, implement and measure their impact.
Sarah is also a trustee at One Degree Mentoring, a charity that focuses on raising aspirations and attainment of underachieving teenagers, and an experienced Governor in London schools with a focus on improving outcomes.
Davinder Jolly

Davinder Jolly is a Chartered Engineer and MBA professional with over three decades’ experience delivering local and international projects in broadcast technology and systems engineering at the BBC. He has managed diverse teams, overseen budgets, and implemented strategies that have improved efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance.
With expertise in governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, Davinder has a proven record of delivering robust, cost-effective solutions in high-profile public service settings. In recent years, he has focused on education, working with Teach First to support their mission of enabling every child to fulfil their potential. He is committed to using his experience and leadership skills to ensure that learners have access to the opportunities and support they need to succeed.

Amrit Singh Mann
Trustee
Amrit Singh Mann is a journalist at Sky News. He joined the media powerhouse as a trainee in 2021, straight after completing his A-levels. Since then, Amrit has made his mark as a leading journalist known for his accurate, independent, and impartial reporting at Sky, where he covers a range of stories with a particular focus on social affairs in the UK and, occasionally, around the globe.
Amrit also has a deep interest and passion in representing under-served communities and under-represented issues. He has won several accolades, including the Media, Arts & Cultural Awareness Award at The British Sikh Awards 2023, the Contribution to Media Award in 2023 by the APPG for British Sikhs, Apprentice of the Year at the NCTJ Awards in 2024, as well as Higher Apprentice of the Year at the London National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards.
Before joining Sky News, Amrit served as a member of the UK Youth Parliament, representing his constituency of Slough for five years. He is a former pupil of Khalsa Secondary Academy, a school that was formerly part of the ONE Multi Academies Trust.

Daljit S. Makan

Daljit Singh Makan is a Global Software Asset Manager at DHL Supply Chain with over 30 years of experience in IT, the last 14 of which specialising in risk and compliance management in a global role. He has a proven track record in stakeholder management and governance and his communication and influencing skills have enabled him to engage highly effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners across multiple cultural contexts and geographies. Beyond his career in IT, Daljit is deeply committed to community engagement and interfaith dialogue. He has delivered many ‘Thought for the Day’ contributions on BBC Radio Leicester and enjoys giving talks and lectures to school, university, and other groups to increase awareness of the Sikh faith and to foster harmonious interfaith relations. He has also sat as Sikh Faith Advisor on and Chair of the World Faiths Advisory Group at the University of Leicester. He firmly believes that education is a key driver for personal and societal betterment.
